2. Pat Cummins – ₹20.50 Crore (SRH)
Sunrisers Hyderabad bought Pat Cummins for a whopping ₹20.50 crore. Sunrisers booked the World Cup winning captain after a neck-to-neck tussle with Royal Challengers Bangalore. He also became the first ever player to get the bid of ₹20 crore in IPL Auction history. He is also the 2nd most expensive player of IPL Auction 2024 and of all IPL history as well.

3. Daryl Mitchell – ₹14 Crore (CSK)
Chennai Super Kings bought Daryl Mitchell for a handsome amount of ₹14 Crore. Chennai Super Kings went all in in order to sign the promising all-rounder from New Zealand. Darly is a gutsy all-rounder who can give the team a stability in middle order and can bowl some handy overs as well and not to forget he is a very fine fielder. So, well done CSK!!
4. Harshal Patel – ₹11.75 Crore (PBKS)
Purple Cap winner of IPL 2021, Harshal Patel once again bagged some good amount home. Punjab Kings bought Harshal Patel for an impressive ₹11.75 Crore. With such a big amount, Harshal Patel also became the most expensive Indian player in the IPL Auction 2024.
5. Alzari Joseph – ₹11.50 Crore (RCB)
After failing to sign Pat Cummins even after bidding over ₹20 crores, RCB went all in for Alzari Joseph. Royal Challengers Bangalore bought the gun pacer from West Indies at a huge amount of ₹11.50 crore. Chennai, Delhi and Lucknow were also interested in the windies pacer, however it was Bangalore who won the battle in the end.
