In her interview with Pinkvilla, Nia revealed that this was all part of a promotional strategy by Colors TV. She explained that she was initially supposed to make an appearance on Bigg Boss 18 to promote Laughter Chefs, a project that Colors had planned. But things changed unexpectedly.
Reason Behind Nia Sharma Bigg Boss 18 Exit
According to Nia, she was informed at the last minute that her appearance would not go ahead because Laughter Chefs had been canceled. This last-minute change, she shared, was intended to create excitement and buzz around Bigg Boss 18, and she believes Colors succeeded in doing so.
While Nia Sharma understood the purpose behind the plan and went along with it, she admitted that she didn’t expect such a big reaction from her fans and the public. Many fans were upset when she withdrew from the show, with some feeling misled or disappointed. Nia faced criticism from fans who thought she had backed out at the last moment.
She explained that the situation was beyond her control and that the decision to make the announcement and later cancel it was part of Colors TV’s strategy. She clarified, “I was not supposed to put up a note. All that was done by the Colors team. It was their strategy, and it was up to them. I am working for them, and if they are doing something in my name, it’s completely alright.” Nia Sharma expressed regret over any confusion caused but hoped her fans understood that it was a professional decision.
