Sudhanshu Pandey aka Vanraj Shah has decided to leave the popular TV show Anupamaa. He recently discussed his unexpected departure from the hit show “Anupamaa”. In an interview, Pandey, who played Vanraj Shah, talked about why he left the show and what he plans to do next.
Pandey’s exit from “Anupamaa” surprised many fans and industry insiders. His character, Vanraj Shah, was a crucial part of the show’s plot, making his departure a topic of much speculation. Pandey admitted that his exit was sudden and unplanned. He explained, “This decision has been sudden. It came unexpectedly, and I had to make a choice for reasons of my own. However, everything is positive, my mind is at peace, and I’m happy.”

There are some rumours that he has left the show due to differences with producer Rajan Shahi and co-star Rupali Ganguly. However, Pandey’s comments suggest that his decision was personal rather than influenced by external pressures. He addressed rumors about possible conflicts with the show’s producer, Rajan Shahi. Pandey noted that such rumors often arise when an actor leaves a successful show. “When an exit happens, these kinds of things are said,” he said, downplaying any notion of a major dispute.

Despite the rumors, Pandey had positive things to say about his time on “Anupamaa”. He described his role as Vanraj Shah as “rewarding and fulfilling,” reflecting on the personal and professional growth he experienced. However, he also mentioned that his role had become less prominent over time, with fewer shooting days and lower pay, which might have influenced his decision to leave.
When asked if he would consider returning to the show, Pandey was firm. He stated that he had made his decision and had no plans to revisit his role as Vanraj Shah. “I took the decision and wouldn’t want to look back at the same,” he said, indicating that he is now focused on new opportunities and challenges.
